Recently, a Malaysian has taken the liberty to share an experience of him spending the night behind bars after getting caught driving after drinking.

The nightmarish experience prompted him to remind others NOT to take drunk driving lightly, and he revealed how it motivated him to STOP taking alcohol. The karaoke bar he visited on that fateful night, V Sing in Sri Petaling saw the post, and they had a message for the man.

In a Facebook post yesterday (June 21), they thanked the man, Ivan, for showing his support by celebrating his birthday at their entertainment outlet. However, V Sing has something else in store especially for Ivan.

“If you’re seeing this, please come to our place as we will arrange a set of non-alcoholic beverages for you.”

V Sing Sri Petaling is giving away complimentary non-alcoholic beverages to Ivan as a ‘celebration’ of his decision to cut off the alcohol from his life. But that’s not all.

“You can sing and drink at our place for free to make up for the night spent in jail,” V Sing added.

V Sing also noted on its Facebook post that after Ivan’s post has gone viral, it should be a solid reminder to everyone that driving under the influence of alcohol is not acceptable.

“Don’t be disillusioned by your overconfidence. Think about the lives of others and yours,” V Sing said.

We definitely did not see this coming and V Sing’s plan for Ivan to ‘celebrate his break up’ with alcohol is definitely a pleasant surprise!

We are glad that Ivan learned his lesson and this should serve as a reminder to everyone that driving under the influence of alcohol is not only illegal but immoral as it endangers the lives of others.
