This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for!

Filipino mega fast food joint, Jollibee will be opening their 1st store in West Malaysia in Sunway Pyramid on 8 February!

Jollibee

So, our friends at Jollibee have invited us to go over for a jolly good time before their official opening and how can we say no!

We were introduced to a few key items in their menu which are the Chickenjoy and Spicy Chickenjoy, the Jolly Spaghetti coupled with some sides and a chocolate sundae.

When we broke the chicken open, we could hear the crackling of the skin and it revealed the juicy, tender meat inside.

Even though the outside skin was very crispy, the insides were not dry at all and the juices spilt out.

The chicken was good on its own and when coupled with their signature gravy, it was even better!

We loved the spicy version of the chicken as well as it was not weak and had enough heat for us to feel something.

Moving on, the Jolly Spaghetti was an experience as we have never had pasta that was sweet before, but it was very intriguing and we can see why it’s a popular item on the menu.

The sides which are mashed potatoes and coleslaw were to die for! The mash was very creamy, buttery and smooth while the coleslaw had a bit of pineapple taste to it which made it so refreshing.

As for the desserts, the chocolate sundae had a very prominent vanilla taste and paired well with the chocolate sauce, making it a perfect ending to the hearty meal!

We had a joyful time over there but will you be visiting them anytime soon? Let us know in the comments!
