Just yesterday, a video revealing the disregarding of SOPs amongst the shoppers at a supermarket in Perak has circulated online.

In the video, a bunch of shoppers in the supermarket are seen rushing towards the cartons of soft drinks which were believed to be in promotion on that particular day, as well as the Chinese New Year that is just 3 weeks away which may also be the reason of the people to get their hands on the soft drinks.

During the incident, SOPs were clearly ignored and it had immediately reached the attention of the police.

In the meantime, the police also urged the people to keep following the SOPs that have been set by the Malaysian National Security Council (MKN). People who have more information regarding the incident of breaching SOPs can also come forward and provide them with more information. You may contact IPD Manjung at 05-6886222.

As the festive season is just around the corner and to curb the spread of the virus, we would also like to remind everyone to keep following the SOPs to prevent any unwanted outbreaks.
