LIVE NOW: PM Ismail Sabri Holds Special Press Conference, Expected To Announce Interstate Travel

Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri is currently holding a live conference broadcasted nationwide in which he is expected to address the nation regarding the current Covid-19 situation in Malaysia. Furthermore, the Prime Minister is also expected to announce the much awaited interstate travel SOPs for all Malaysians.

Previously, Ismail Sabri had promised that interstate travel will be allowed once Malaysia achieves 90% vaccination rate. Yesterday (9 October 2021), our vaccination rate stands at 89.7%, just 0.3% shy of the target.

The Prime Minister has also earlier announced that interstate travel will allowed simultaneously nationwide.
