We often read stories about dogs that accompany Malaysian hikers to ensure they reach their destination safely. However, recently, a video on TikTok has gone viral, showing a group of hikers working together to help a stray dog cross a stream safely.

The heartwarming incident that occurred in Lata Medang, Kuala Kubu Baru, was shared by @imhakim0305 on TikTok. From the video, we can actually see that the stream is flowing rapidly at a dangerous rate, especially for small animals.

Noticing the dog’s intention to cross the stream, the visitors and the hikers worked together to form a barricade to disrupt the flow of the stream so that the dog can cross it safely. The actions of those who were there deserve praise. Upon seeing the dog, they immediately thought of helping it.

It can also be seen that the bridge there had collapsed, forcing visitors to go through the rapidly flowing water. After the kind visitors helped in slowing down the rapids, the dog slowly continued to walk until it finally reached the other side where there was a man waiting to help it.

Kudos to all who were involved in the act and hopefully, this will be an example to all of us so that we can all treat other animals with kindness.
