“I work for the people” Syed Saddiq Initiates His Own Food Bank In Muar

Wanting to help cope with a surge in demand for food banks, Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman did the necessary by initiating his own food bank effort.

Taking to Twitter, here is what took place.

“Three foodbank trucks for Muar! I work for the people and they deserve all the help they can get.”

“Let’s pray for the safety of all involved.”

Garnering more that 1.3k retweets, packets of rice are loaded onto the truck, which is surely good news for families in need.

Netizens commenting on his tweet commended him for his efforts.

“You just do you and focus on that. Try to get as many young adults to join you, before you know it this good cause and act will spread to the whole country.”

Let’s hope that this act will be an inspiration for others to do their part.
