A 50-year-old man was arrested after he is believed to have threatened a shop worker for not wearing a mask at Masbukti Senawang Supermarket, Negeri Sembilan.

In a video circulating on social media, the man is seen yelling at the worker, shoving him and at one point even attempting to strangle him. However, the worker remained calm and can be seen apologising to the man.

According to Sinar Harian, the incident happened on 18 April at about 9.20am.

Seremban Regional Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd. Said Ibrahim, said the victim had reprimanded the suspect for not wearing a face mask, checking his temperature and also not writing his name on the book provided.
