We’re all in this together. In the fight against Covid-19, we should all cooperate and follow Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

This is why it is saddening when frontliners don’t follow the SOPs.

Zarra Zarina Jaffar took to the POLITIK MALAYSIA TERKINI Facebook group to showcase a police officer in Ampang, allegedly purchasing food at a public place without a mask on.

Mask 1

She wrote, “It’s fun for the Pak Police to buy lunch at the Ampang Jaya Muhibbah Building Complex without wearing a face mask earlier at 1.35pm.”

She also pointed out the double standard as regular folks would be immediately fined for such actions.

Mask 3

“If us, normal citizens, do not wear face masks in a public place, they’re so quick to fine us. Please make this viral and take action against this Pak Police to be a lesson to all enforcement officers.”

It’s truly disheartening to see how a frontliner can flout the SOPs without care, while many underprivileged citizens are struggling to pay unjust fines.

We genuinely hope that the authorities address this issue and that they take the appropriate action against the officer in question.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
