Breaking into someone’s home is a crime and the police will be called to catch whoever decides to do it anyway.

For one criminal who decided to force himself into a house, the police did not have to be called in because they were already at home.

As according to Berita Harian, a 22-year-old man, under the influence of drugs, was caught breaking into the home of a police officer in Taman Sourabaya Indah, Sarawak, at 3:30am. He was arrested by the policeman who was awakened when he heard suspicious sounds coming from the front door.

Kuching district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Awang Din Awang Gani said that the officer, who works at the Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters, found that the man was already inside his home.

Police 2

“The officer acted quickly and successfully apprehended the suspect before sending him to the nearest police station,” he shared.

He also added that urine tests showed that the suspect tested positive for methamphetamines and further investigations showed that he has three previous criminal records. This case is now being investigated under Section 448 of the Penal Code.

Considering there are so many houses in a neighbourhood, the man had broken into the house of a policeman. What are the odds, right?

Let this be a lesson to all the home invaders out there, that you’ll never know whose house you’re breaking into, so don’t do it!

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
