561 New Positive Covid-19 Cases Today With 5 New Clusters Detected (11 Oct)

Based on today’s Covid-19 update from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, there are 561 new cases as of today (11th October 2020), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1567. From those numbers, a total of 10913 patients have recovered and been discharged, including today’s 133 patients.

Unfortunately, there are 2 reported deaths today, bringing the number of casualties at 157.

Out of the 561 new cases today, 488 are in Sabah, 26 are in Selangor, 16 in Kedah and 8 cases in Kuala Lumpur.

There are also five new clusters detected. Kluster Surat,  Kluster Kasih and Kluster Khazanah in Sabah, Kluster Sungai Wei in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and lastly Kluster Bah Bundle in Labuan.

There’s been an alarming increase in the number of positive cases of late. This means that we should tread lightly, be more careful and adhere to the standard operating procedures set in place.
