Parliamentary meetings are not always entertaining but once in a while, minor incidents occur and that will put a smile on everyone’s face, especially when it involves a virtual meeting and a cat. Recently, a UK MP became the talk of the town after his pet cat decided to walk in during a live broadcast of a virtual parliamentary meeting.

John Nicolson, a member of parliament for Ochil & South Perthshire, was initially discussing the advantages of putting subtitles on children’s TV when his fluffy ginger cat decided to pop its tail on screen. “I apologize for my cat’s tail,” he told other members of the meeting when, Rojo, his cat, walked nonchalantly in front of the camera.

Watch the full video here:

John tried to ignore what was happening but everyone else was already laughing. The incident has since, gone viral and John finally shared how Rojo looks like on Twitter.

Cats – what’s not to love about them? I do believe they are secretly controlling our lives and they have penetrated even the highest administration. But it’s ok, I am fine with it. Right, I need to go feed my owners – eh, I mean my cats now.
