Three Children Tests Positive for Covid-19 in Kuala Langat

Three girls between the age of two and 10 were among the nine individuals who were found positive with Covid-19 at Taman Langat Utama and Taman Langat Murni, Bukit Changgang.

According to the Kuala Langat District Officer Mohd Jusni Hashim the three girls in question are Malaysians living in Zone A, B and C in Taman Langat Murni and Taman Langat Utama.

“Of all the nine cases reported, seven of them were Malaysians while the remaining two were from Nepal and Thailand.”

“As of 12 noon yesterday, 4,627 residents have gone through screening by the Kuala Langat Health District Department.”

Jusni added that screening begun after 20 cleaning workers in KLIA who stayed in Taman Langat Murni and Taman Langat Utama were found positive with Covid-19.

“We were forced to carry out home-to-home screening to ensure that no one is left behind.”

Currently, 19 out of the 20 found positive are receiving treatment in Hospital Sungai Buloh.

The MCO administrative control was imposed on the two housing estates since 2 June and will be effective until 16 June.
