The coronavirus is back with a second wave and it’s hitting us worse than ever with more and more cases being reported every single day. Just yesterday, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) confirmed that there were five new cases. However, it seems like the number has increased today (March 6th) with KKM confirming that there have been 28 new cases of the Covid-19 in Malaysia.

“Most of these cases are second-generation cases (close contact to close contact) to a cluster of cases,” said KKM via a tweet on their official Twitter page 30 minutes ago.

This brings the total number of cases up to 83 including the 23 that cured and were discharged. This has sparked fear among netizens as this is the most number of cases that have been reported in a day. Previously only five cases reported were second-generation infections but those numbers have multiplied. This probably suggests that the virus is spreading more aggressively than expected.

No details regarding the infected patients have been release so far so as responsible citizens, make sure to await for official confirmation from KKM themselves and avoid spreading fake news.
