These two new cases are Malaysians who were evacuated from Wuhan, China recently and are currently in an isolation ward at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital, Seremban, Sinchew reports. The Health Minister said that the new cases were a 45-year-old father and his nine-year-old son.

He told a press conference today (Feb 5th) that the father and son did not have any symptoms at first but eventually tested positive for the virus. Another two family members who were evacuated in the same flight tested negative. There were another two Malaysians who showed symptoms and were quickly sent to the isolation ward but they have since tested negative for the coronavirus as well.
