Southwest District Civil Defence Force officer, Lieutenant (PA) Noor Azizan Zakaria said that they received an emergency call at 12:16pm and sent 4 personnel to the scene.

Accident

Jami was reportedly still conscious when they administered treatment and once she was stabilised, she was sent to Penang General Hospital where her right leg had to be amputated due to the severity of the injury.

“When we arrived at the scene, both of her legs were severely injured after being ran over by the forklift.”

Meanwhile, it was reported that her husband Marzuki Omar, 68, only found out about the news when he got home. He was initially waiting for Jami’s call to pick her up at 12pm from work.

Help

Since this was their routine so he was puzzled when he didn’t receive her call. He then decided to head home to call her when he found out the shocking news from a MASKargo staff who had called to inform him and he quickly rushed to the hospital.
