With COVID-19 cases increasing by the hundreds and thousands every day, adhering to CMCO/RMCO and social distancing rules have never been more important. But unfortunately, that still doesn’t stop many from breaking the rules anyway.

Yesterday, a total of 71 individuals were arrested after their party was raided in a luxury condominium in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur reports Berita Harian. The suspects detained were between the ages of 18 and 30 and comprised of 4 local men, 41 Indonesian men and 26 Indonesian women.

After initial screening, it was found that all individuals tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine, marijuana and ketamine.

“The results of the investigation found that the visitors of the wild party were employees of an electronics factory in the Klang Valley,” explained Dang Wangi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdulla.

The party was raided at around 3am in the morning by the Dang Wangi District Narcotics Crime Investigation Division (BSJN).
