A 60-year-old man was killed in Perak as a lorry suddenly turned left after signalling to go right
Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad, explained that the victims’ motorcycle did not have time to avoid the lorry that had suddenly turned left despite signalling to the right.
“The situation resulted in the victims’ motorcycle hitting the side of the lorry. The 23-year-old lorry driver, however, did not suffer any injuries,” he said.

He also added that the motorcycle involved did not have a road tax or valid insurance, while the lorry’s road tax and insurance were still valid.
“No arrests have been made so far, and further investigations are still ongoing under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.”
