He had a misunderstanding with his wife

In the video, the man can be seen pressing a knife against his neck while shouting uncontrollably, as a witness records the scene.

Johor Bahru South District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, said the incident happened on March 18 at around 12:25 AM when a Danga Bay police officer spotted the suicide attempt and alerted authorities.

Investigations later revealed that the victim, a 27-year-old local man, had used a cleaver to harm himself due to emotional distress after a misunderstanding with his wife.
