A 15-year-old student from Perak has lodged a police report after claiming she was deceived into sending nude photos to a man posing as a doctor.

According to Manjung District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Hasbullah Abd Rahman, the schoolgirl alleged she had sent several photos via the Telegram application.

Suspect claimed the photos were needed for medical screening

In a statement, police said the suspect asked the girl to share personal and family details and to send several nude photos, claiming they were needed for a “remote” cervical and breast‑cancer screening that didn’t require a physical exam.

He added that the victim, upon realising she had been scammed, lodged a police report, fearing that the photos would be leaked.

“The victim was asked to provide her details and send several nude photos under the pretext of medical screening,” he explained.
