After two workers from a wholesale market in Kuala Lumpur tested positive for Covid-19, a total of 150 workers from the market have undergone screening and was told to quarantine themselves for 14 days to lower the risk of the virus spreading to anyone else.
The president of Kuala Lumpur Vegetable Wholesaler Association, Wong Keng Fatt, as reported by The Star, said that these workers are from 30 stalls operating in the market. He mentioned that the test results will be known within three to five days and they are working closely with DBKL and also KKM.
Tan Sri Annuar Musa, Federal Territories Minister have also said that eight positive cases came out from the market and KKM will be erecting a disinfection station there and disinfection process will be done today (5 April).
This is why you should always sanitize your hands and avoid going to places where there is a risk of crowding. You cannot be too sure of who is carrying the virus. Please be safe and stay at home.
