Malaysians are grieving over the unfortunate deaths of 10 officers of the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), especially their family members.

The names of the deceased officers have been revealed, with 1 of the fallen heroes being Bintara Muda TNL Nor Rahiza Anuar. The late Rahiza left behind husband & 4 kids, who received the news about their mother at the most unexpected times.

Her twin daughters, Qistina Awliya and Qistina Auni, who are 16 were at the school, where their friends gave them a heads up about the bad news.

“They asked us to be patient and when we reached the teacher’s room, everyone was crying. The teachers held our hands and told us that Mama was gone.”

A “desire to take” photo says a thousand things

Speaking to media friends, Awliya said she noticed an odd behavior about her mother during the recent Raya celebration. Taking photos is something usual for the family but Awliya said her late mother was differently excited to capture the moments during the celebration and even hinted that it could be their last photos together.

“Mama said this could be our last photos with her. Even Papa pointed out her excitement,” Awliya said.

No one knew Rahiza’s different kind of excitement on Raya morning was the last one that anyone saw.

The young daughter also said her late mum was loving and would always get her, as well as her siblings anything they wanted.

“Mama did tell me to take care of the other siblings because we always walk to school together.”

In another report, Rahiza’s brother, Abdul Latif Anuar said he had never expected that his sister’s excitement to take pictures and record videos was a hint of her final moments before she was gone forever.

Just yesterday (April 23), 2 helicopters of TLDM collided with each other and crashed, killing all 10 officers onboard.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the family members of the deceased officers.
