A random encounter a local content creator had with 2 friendly foreign workers at a petrol station in Klang left Malaysians in stitches recently due to the latter’s antics and their names that match with the nearby Selangor capital of Shah Alam.

Shared by @ejueju.okodoko on TikTok, the video has gone viral with over 629,000 views and more than 41,300 likes in just over 1 day.

Working at a fuel station, both of their names were written on their uniforms, as well as on their name tags which may have been the reason why @ejueju.okodoko got intrigued by them in the first place.

Speaking excellent Bahasa Melayu, Shah Alam joked that his name is “Shah Alam Seksyen 3” while Alam Shah joked he’s “Seksyen 18″, which refers to the city’s Sections, the naming schemes for its localities.

They both then revealed that they’re from Bangladesh and that Shah Alam or variations of it are popular names in the country.

@ejueju.okodoko then told the audience that he was confused at 1st by their name tags but as it turned out, Shah Alam and Alam Shah are their real names, with the 3 of them laughing together at the end.
