It looks like it isn’t safe to be a woman anymore, as you can even be raped in your very own home. This actually happened recently to a Chinese woman who was home alone was allegedly raped by her neighbour.

According to Oriental Daily, the woman who is currently 45 years old, was raped twice in her home last year when she came over to Singapore to visit her husband. Her husband has been working in the construction industry in Singapore for 12 years and because his wife was visiting, he decided to rent a place so that he could stay with her during her visit. Unbeknownst to him, he chose the place with a rapist as a neighbour!

On 29 February 2016, the woman was home alone in the morning around 11am while her husband was at work. That was when the man, 32-year-old Bangladeshi worker identified as Hussein, knocked on her door holding a toothbrush. The suspect apparently wanted to borrow toothpaste from her so she kindly led him to the bathroom for the toothpaste.

Unfortunately, that was when he took advantage of her and quickly shut the bathroom door. Shocked, she tried to escape and struggled but he managed to pull her pants down and raped her. When he was done, she wanted to flee again but he caught her shoulder to prevent her from escaping.

The suspect then pulled her into her room and proceeded to rape her again. Yes, he disgustingly raped her twice! He left after that and a police report was lodged. The case was brought to court on 4 July 2017, where the defendant entered a plea of not guilty. The case will be brought to trial in the high court for two counts of rape.

All rapists should be put away for eternity!
