Whether you’re an aspiring photographer or just someone who loves to take photos as a hobby, we’ve got something awesome to tell you. There’s a new phone in town that everyone is raving about because of its ability to take absolutely jaw-dropping photos.

After asking around and finding out what’s so great about this phone, we did the most natural thing any gadget geek would do:

We took the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G out for a spin!

And this is what some of our colleagues and friends said about this phone and the photos we took:

1. “Why your feed so nice??”

This was the most common remark we received ever since we started posting photos taken with the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G. With a camera that pushes 108-megapixels, how can anyone not notice the amount of detail in the photos it takes?

We barely even had to edit any photos we took because they already looked amazing right off the bat!

2. “This photo is not edited at all? Don’t lie”

Yes, that’s right, the photos above aren’t edited in any way so all the colours and details you see here were taken at completely default settings in its native 108-megapixel mode. We were completely blown away by the phone’s ability to capture this much detail and process all the colours that make it stand out among the rest.

3. “You just took my picture a minute ago, how did you edit it so fast?”

That’s easy! Because the phone comes with a built-in editing software! You can adjust everything from exposure, contrast, saturation, hue, white balance, and more. There’s no need to download any third-party app just to make your edits look professional.

Also, think of all the time you’ll save from having to export the photos to your PC, opening an editing software and then exporting it again. With the phone’s own editing software, you can skip all those extra steps and get to posting on your social media page right away!

4. “How did you draw and write so perfectly on your photos like it’s a Polaroid??”

This is thanks to Samsung’s S Pen, which is a trademark feature in its entire line of Note phablets. It started out as a natural way to take down notes right on your screen but you can now also use it to draw and doodle on your photos AND videos directly. Think of all the creative possibilities for your Instagram feed!

You can choose from a few pre-set colours or from a colour wheel to get the right shade for your picture doodles and after you’re done, post away!

5. “Did you attach a zoom lens? There’s no way the photo can still look so clear after zooming in that much”

Look again! The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra boasts a 5x Optical Zoom feature & 50x Super-Resolution Zoom to get you closer to the action or moment without losing any detail. Look at the images below and we’ll let it do the talking.

Just don’t abuse the power of this zoom though!

6. “For some reason, looking at this phone’s display is really satisfying”

That’s because the phone packs a huge 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display. This makes the entire user experience buttery smooth especially with the Adaptive Motion Smoothness setting turned on.

It’s also a great size for drawing and writing on, not to mention the 9ms response rate of the S Pen that gives it that pen-to-paper feel. In fact, we sometimes forget that we’re actually scribbling on a screen!

7. “How did you get photo, video and boomerang all in one shot??”

This is yet another amazing feature you can find in the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra. With the Single Take feature only available in Samsung phones, you can capture a single moment in multiple formats. No more having to switch over from photo mode to video mode to Instagram in order to get the same shot in different formats!

So how does it work? This video will show you how to do it.

Pretty easy right? Now you won’t have to worry about missing out a single moment!

8. “I took the same picture last night but why does yours look so much brighter?”

samsung night mode

The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra’s night mode is absolutely incredible, being able to capture images in very low light conditions without much loss of detail. Even when used indoors, you’ll be able to see what your own eyes can’t see with a stunning amount of detail.

If you’ve always struggled with group photos at a dimly lit restaurant, that won’t be a problem anymore if you have this phone!

9. “How did you take that group pic of us without setting a timer?”

Taking selfies and group photos are now much easier with the S Pen that comes with a button to click the shutter remotely. No more having to set a timer and reset it again when you’re trying a new pose or adjusting everyone in a group shot.

Just set the phone where you want it to take photos from and start snapping away using the S Pen as it sits inconspicuously in your hand!

10. “With a phone like this, do you even need your DSLR anymore?”

Well, we don’t want to claim anything against a proper full-fledged camera with the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra but there is a Pro Mode embedded into the camera that allows you to adjust the camera settings just like a DSLR camera.

Everything from ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and even focus can be manipulated just like a proper camera. Having said that, who’s to say it’s not a professional camera?

The phone also goes above and beyond in the video department, being able to record in 8K resolution at 24 frames per second, it will surely give you that ultra-smooth, detailed video you’ve always dreamed of.

Video mode also enables director-level control with features such as:

  • Zoom speed control that allows fine control of the camera zoom while recording
  • Microphone control lets you have full control over audio volume and enables voice isolation when recording a person talking

There are just too many things about this phone that make us love it, including its long-lasting 4,500mAh battery and a 25W fast-charging charger which will allow you to shoot all day without ever having to worry about your phone dying mid-shoot.

If having such a feature-packed phone isn’t enough, Samsung is offering customers a FREE pair of Galaxy Buds+ earphones worth RM599 when you purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G unit!

This offer is running from 28 October – 30 November 2020 so don’t miss it!
