The eldest child often have to face a lot of issues when it comes to dealing with responsibilities and taking care of their younger siblings.
These responsibilities can become very overwhelming for the child which makes it worse when it is piled on along with pressure from the parents.
Hence, why it is important for the parents to recognise this pressure by rewarding their child appropriately.
Recently, a lovely mother on TikTok shared a video where she surprised her eldest son with his dream gaming steering wheel.
In the video, the mother had hidden the surprise gift at the backseat of her car and as soon as her eldest son sat in the passenger seat, she began asking him questions.
“Do you love me Along? Do you know that Ma loves you?”, the mother asked.
The boy who looked visibly puzzled decided to entertain his mother and even jokingly called her dramatic.
She then went on to ask her child to peek into the backseat where he immediately broke down and sobbed into his mother’s arms.
“Thank you Along for always lending me a hand. Thank you for always prioritising your younger siblings’ needs before yours. I love you eternally.”, the mother wrote.
The present was to serve as a gift of appreciation for her child for always helping her out.
A touching moment
The video has since gone viral and currently sits on over 873,400 views. Netizens took to the comments section to praise the mother and the child for their heartwarming interaction.
