WATCH: Desperate Thief Climbs Shah Alam Flat’s Rooftop to Escape PDRM, Gets Caught Anyway

Taking to Twitter, this netizen shared a video of how this thief got caught in the act while trying to escape at a Flat in Seksyen 20, Shah Alam.

Caught on video, here is footage of the man trying to escape.

 

In the video, the man can be seen climbing to the flat’s rooftop in a desperate attempt to hide from authorities. However, he was spotted by residents and afterwards, he attempted to flee the scene but was surrounded.

According to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the robber attempted to leave the premises but his efforts were futile.

Shah Alam District Police Chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim shared that the suspect was caught with the help of firefighters from the Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Department circa 12:03 am.

“The suspect had prior records involving a number of crimes and narcotics.”

The suspect will be tried under Section 457 of the Penal Code for housebreaking.
