WATCH: Couple With Child Steal Clothes At Self-Service Laundry Shop In Kelantan

Police are tracking down two individuals, including a woman, who stole clothes at a self-service laundry shop in Melor, Kelantan.

Based on the CCTV footage, the incident occurred on 16 November at around 4.46pm.

In the video, a couple was seen arriving at the laundry shop on a motorbike, together with their child. The female suspect then went inside the shop before grabbing a large bag and filling it with clothes from two dryers.

The couple can be seen making a run for it when a car suddenly pulls up in front of the shop.

According to Harian Metro, Kota Bharu District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rahim Daud said, his department has received a report related to the incident from the owner of the laundry shop.

“We are still tracking down the two individuals involved. The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code for stealing,” he said.
