Many of us may have heard of the tv show, ‘The Amazing Race’.

For those who are unfamiliar, the multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series has 12 teams, often in pairs, embarking on a trek around the world and at every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location.

Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning The Amazing Race and a cash prize.

Although the countries where the teams have to go through changes each season, most of the locations are either in South America, Asia or Africa.

However, in a video shared by a Malaysian Twitter user, it seems that the show will also feature Malaysia in one of its future seasons.

In a post shared by @_mlikr, two pairs of tourists could be seen running around with huge backpacks as a cameraman followed them around.

According to the user, this was shot in Penang.

But it is unclear whether or not Penang will feature in the upcoming season as season 35 is set to debut sometime this year and reportedly finished filming sometime last November.

We can’t wait to see them race in the street of Penang! What do you think of this? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
