We definitely admire the hard work of TV3’s journalists, especially the correspondents covering the flood relief efforts in Terengganu.

However, one of the national news channel’s cameramen was met with a slight inconvenience when he fell over his boat while covering the flood!

The moment happened to be caught on video by TV3’s regional correspondent for Terengganu, Mohd Ishak Abdullah Ngah, who was recording himself providing updates on the situation in the state. The video was shared on social media last week (13th December) by Buletin TV3’s official Twitter account. Their caption translates,

“This is the sacrifice a member of the media has made in order to report the latest news to the country.”

In the video, the cameraman can be seen falling off his boat in the background, but it appears many netizens were more amused by Mohd Ishak’s reaction to the situation, although they did feel bad for laughing!

Fortunately, the cameraman wasn’t hurt when he fell off the boat, as explained by Mohd Ishak on Twitter.

His post translates,

“TV3 Terengganu cameraman, Aziz Abdullah, fell from his boat while surveying the flood in Kampung Merbau Menyusut, Setiu. Thankfully, he was wearing a life jacket and managed to get back onto the boat while on the Merbau Menyusut river.”

It’s good to know that Aziz Abdullah emerged unscathed! Let’s hope he’s more careful on his next assignment!
