One of the most popular things to do when you’re in Taiwan is to light a Kongming Lantern.

Kongming Lanterns a.k.a. Sky Lanterns are lanterns made from paper, and people light them up with their wishes written on it. It’s a representation that these lanterns are to send wishes and messages to God.

However, one guy’s wish was so impossible that even his Kongming Lantern went on a kamikaze attempt.

According to NOODOU, when the guy released his lantern, he yelled “I want to marry Chou Tzu Yu!”

Chou Tzu Yu is a Taiwanese singer who is part of K-pop group Twice. With her sweet appearance and deep passion for singing, she’s definitely the dream girl for many guys out there.

It just seems that she’ll remain a dream for this unfortunate guy as his Kongming Lantern instantly went up in flames after he shouted his wish.
