It was announced yesterday that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, our former Prime Minister and ex-Chairman of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has been expelled from the party. Also fired were Mukhriz Mahathir, Syed Saddiq, Amiruddin Hamzah and Maszlee Malik. This news was definitely shocking as most of us probably didn’t see it coming.

In retaliation, Tun Dr Mahathir posts a video of him today going to the Bersatu party office headquarters captioned, “You said you wanted to fire me, go ahead, I’m waiting at the Bersatu office.”

In the video, you can see the former prime minister walks calmly with his mask on to the Chairman’s area and sits on his chair comfortably as if nothing happened at all.

What do you think of this move by Tun Dr Mahathir? Will we be seeing another political turmoil in our country? Let us know in the comments section!
