Grudges can last a lifetime, that much is for certain. For some people, this hatred can burrow deep down into their souls, to a point of no return. But does hatred warrant going to extremes? We’re not so sure, so we’ll let you be the judge in this story.
In a recent report by Sin Chew Daily, it is said that an old man in Jiangsu, China had passed away after a long time bout of illness. Now, that isn’t unheard of as none of us can escape our own mortality. Death is simply a part of life. But what happened during his wake will truly shock you.
According to a video that was included in the Chinese daily’s report, a group of the old man’s children had come to attend his wake, as most children are meant to do after their parents pass away. But it is learned that apparently, the old man had abandoned his wife and his children over 40 years ago for another woman, while staying in the same village as his first wife and family.
After spending his lifetime with this new girlfriend of his, he passed away and naturally, there are funerary costs to bear. As you know, funerals aren’t cheap affairs. So what did the old man’s girlfriend do?
She sent the bill to the children born from the old man’s first marriage, expecting them to pay. Which, as you understand, pissed them off a lot.
It pissed them off enough for them to open the lid of the old man’s casket, and then drag his corpse out from it.

In a fit of blind rage, his children pulled his corpse down onto the floor before they started slapping the old man’s embalmed face over and over. Their justification was that since their late-father had left them and their mother for another woman, they had to endure a number of hardships on their own.
“You made our lives Hell when you were alive! Do you really think I will help you after you die?!”

After causing such a commotion, his children then left the scene without so much as helping to move their late father’s corpse back into his casket. The matter is apparently now under police investigation.
While we don’t think that the children of the deceased should have acted out in the way that they did, we definitely don’t think he should have abandoned them all those years ago either!
