The famous Japanese cosmetic line shu uemura recently teased us with the limited edition shu uemura ONE PIECE makeup collection! If you are both a makeup enthusiast and anime lover, this makeup collection inspired by the famous manga series, One Piece, will probably make you scream.
This shu uemura ONE PIECE makeup is a holiday collection. This is what you can expect from the collection: Â two 10-shade eyeshadow palettes featuring jewel tones like turquoise and navy and warm hues like burgundy and gold;
nine gorgeous shades of lipsticks, including orange-toned shades to a deep maroon;
Cleansing oil kit, the brand’s iconic Eyelash Curler, Premium brushes and many more, are all coming in exclusive, beautiful designs inspired by the anime series.
The eyeshadow palettes are priced at approximately RM377 for one, and one lipstick costs approximately RM149, according to shu uemura Taiwan.
If you purchase the set on a VIP package, you’ll also receive an adorable plush Tony Tony Chopper as a gift! The names of the lipsticks are also inspired by One Piece’s characters’ fighting techniques, according to Teen Vogue.
The official Instagram of shu uemura has just released another “coming soon” video of the collection yesterday (22 September 2020), with the caption of “embark on a voyage of discovery with the limited edition shu uemura ONE PIECE makeup collection!”.
According to various sources including Vogue Taiwan and Nylon, the collection is expected to launch on 15 October 2020 exclusively in Japan, and 29 October 2020 in all online and physical stores.
One Piece is a Japanese anime and manga series that has garnered popularity all over the world. Recently, many fashion brands are collaborating with well-known manga or anime, including the new batch of Uniqlo Demon Slayer UT Collection.
