Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many of us have no choice but to stay at home to be safe and healthy. The aviation industry has also been put on a halt to ensure there is no spreading of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

To spice things up, THAI Catering, the caterer of THAI Airways International Airline recently came up with a “cabin restaurant” that seeks to give customers a boarding experience right from the moment they “check-in”

From a real airstair to couches you find in the airports and even real passengers seats, you will definitely feel like you are flying again!

There is even a section for deluxe business-class version too.

Not only that, but you will also receive an electronic boarding pass as a souvenir. You will be greeted and served by the crew who will all be dressed up in flight attendants costumes to make the whole atmosphere even more like you are travelling on an aeroplane.

The decorations and props of the restaurant also allow for cool photo-ops. Take a selfie and pretend that you are boarding! This would be a great experience for those who have not flown before.

If you miss flying, you should definitely visit this restaurant! Even though you are not high up in the sky with clouds floating around you, the experience can surely bring you back to the times when you flew in an aeroplane.

  • Address: Building 2, 2nd Floor, Thai Airways Head Office, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road
  • Open every Wednesday to Friday.
  • At 7am, drinks and bakery services are provided.
  • International food service will start from 9am-2pm or until the product runs out.
  • If you’re living in Thailand and would love home delivery services, you can call 090-980 3795 or 090-980 3798.

Although this “cabin restaurant” is in our neighbour country Thailand, we certainly will not mind to try it out if there is one here in Malaysia!
