Remember when we had trouble finding everyone’s favourite loaf of bread, Gardenia, during the first month of the MCO? Well, during the RMCO, it is safe to say that Gardenia bread is full on the shelves again. Unfortunately, a delivery that was headed towards Muar, Tangkak and Segamat went awfully wrong.

A set of photos that was shared on the Anak-Anak Muar Facebook page has gone viral, showing what is believed to be the highway near KLIA to be covered with all sorts of Gardenia bread. The baked goods were scattered all over the road after the lorry that was transporting the precious cargo to Muar collided into another heavy vehicle.

The lorry driver suffered some injuries from the collision but he seems to be currently stable as his condition was updated in the comments section of the post. Yes, Gardenia bread is nice but we are thankful that no one was seriously injured in this accident.

We have contacted Gardenia to verify the delivery status for the affected areas and we have yet to receive a response.

MCO has taught us that bread is an important commodity but most importantly, being stuck at home has really opened our eyes in becoming a better and more caring individual. Kita jaga kita, ok?
