We’ve all heard about the exciting escape room right? It has been quite a hit among Malaysians in recent years.
If you’re like me, where you’ve never played it (but always wanted to), then you’re in luck! In conjunction with the 100th episode and season 8 premier of The Walking Dead, FOX Network Group Asia is throwing a huge event regionally with zombie-themed escape rooms!
The best part? It’s absolutely free!
Besides zombie-inspired decors, and characters, even the questions will be based on the popular series, The Walking Dead! Are y’all fans stoked yet?!
Equipped with nothing but your brains, players will have to solve riddles to, well, escape the room!
If you think you’re up for that challenge, here’s what’s in store:
- You’ll be locked in a room
- You’ll be given clues from the series and non-linear puzzles hidden throughout
- You must work together with other players to escape the themed rooms within an 8-minute time-frame
In Malaysia, the rooms will feature scenes from The Walking Dead seasons 5, 6 and 7. How exciting is that?!
Plus, if you manage to escape from all 3 rooms, you may even be awarded with a ‘survivor’ badge, or the ‘infected’ badge if you fail. Dum dum dum!

Time: 10am – 10pm
The Walking Dead premieres on 23 October 2017 same day as the US at on FOX HD (Astro Channel 724), with repeats at 9pm. Just fyi, you can binge watch Season 1 to 7 anytime via On Demand, and anywhere on Astro GO in preparation for Season 8.
