A 42-year-old man was arrested for shooting his 53-year-old sister-in-law at a weekend house in Thailand, leaving her with five gunshot wounds to the face, shoulder, chest, and arms.
According to Thaiger, the incident happened on June 22 (Sunday) in the northern province of Kamphaeng Phet. The suspect, identified as Arsia, initially denied any involvement in the killing.

His sister-in-law only prepared omelettes for his mother
The victim, Nittaya, was found dead on the front steps of the house. She was allegedly shot because she had served what the suspect considered an inadequate meal to Arsia’s 77-year-old mother.
After further questioning, Arsia eventually confessed, claiming he was angry that Nittaya never prepared proper meals for his elderly mother and only served her omelettes.
He also insisted there were no other disputes between them and admitted he was drunk when the incident happened.

A heated argument broke out over the omelettes
Reports stated that Arsia’s brother, Plew, and Nittaya had visited their father’s house to borrow money, during which a heated argument broke out with Arsia over their mother’s meals.
Arsia threatened to shoot them, which later resulted in Nittaya’s unfortunate death.

Their elderly mother later shared that she couldn’t tolerate spicy food anymore and actually preferred omelettes. She also said that Nittaya had been preparing a variety of meals, but Arsia wasn’t aware of this as he lived separately.
Before Arsia was transferred to prison, his father urged him to confess to the police and take full responsibility for what he had done.
