Taxi Driver Kills Motorcyclist In Hit-And-Run While Changing Lanes At Jalan Pahang

On 21 February, a video was released by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS showing an accident that took place in front of Caltex petrol station at Jalan Pahang heading towards Genting Kelang.

The accident happened between 10am to 10.30am on 23 December 2020.

The video shows a taxi on the left lane swerving into the middle lane without a signal and hitting a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist loses control and falls to the ground while the taxi drives off without stopping. Another vehicle behind the motorcyclist manages to brake in time.

 

The rider that lay motionless on the ground was killed and the rider’s next of kin is now asking for help from the public to look for the perpetrator, and for witnesses of the accident to assist in investigations.

The footage of the accident managed to capture the perpetrator’s car number plate although it was not very clear.
