Taiwanese Tourist Accidentally Injures Diver in Sabah with Oxygen Tank, Leads to Physical Fight

A fight recently broke out at a diving spot near Semporna, Sabah, after a Taiwanese tourist accidentally dropped an oxygen tank on another diver’s foot.

In a two-minute video that has gone viral on social media, a man in a black singlet is seen engaging in a heated argument before slapping the tourist.

The caption reads:

“The Taiwanese tourist (in white) dropped an oxygen tank on the other guy. The guy wanted an apology, but the tourist offered to pay for the injury instead. That was when the argument started.”

The incident has since been reported to local authorities.

According to the authorities, “While en route, the scuba tank belonging to the victim fell onto the foot of a 38-year-old Dive Master.”

The Dive Master sought treatment at Tawau Hospital before returning to the site to claim damages.

The argument escalated into a physical altercation and is now under police investigation.
