A couple of weeks back, Syed Saddiq revealed that his choice to start his modeling career was to raise funds so that he could help the people in his constituency of Muar.

As a result of his hard work, the Muar MP and popular actress and singer Bella Astillah recently managed to distribute Ramadan and Aidilfitri donations to voters in the Muar parliamentary constituency of aid worth a total of RM1.36 million.

According to Harian Metro, the duo engaged with the community while distributing donations to more than 1,000 recipients.

The total donation of RM1.36 million was funded by Syed Saddiq’s earnings as a model for a fashion company, in collaboration with Bella.

Meanwhile, Syed Saddiq urged the government to expedite the allocation for his constituency after he had agreed to several conditions previously set by the administration.

He said that if he were to finally receive the allocation, it would mark the end of a 400-day wait since he became Muar MP in the 15th general election (GE15) in 2022.

“I pray for the best for the people of Muar. If I receive it (the allocation), Alhamdulillah. I thank the prime minister and deputy prime minister because, after more than five rounds of negotiations, this matter is coming to a close.”

“If what has been reported is true, I hope for a positive outcome. This allocation is not for me but for the people of Muar, as it will directly benefit them,” he added.

“If they need assistance such as wheelchairs, food, home repairs, and so on, this allocation will be used for that. I sincerely hope for this because I have endured 400 days without an allocation. Based on what has been conveyed to the media, I can only hope for the best,” he stated.
