The famous Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of our favourite shopping places whenever we pop over to Bangkok for a holiday. It can get rather hot and stifling in there seeing as it’s open-air but the deals and items on sale make it worthwhile. Not to mention the delicious food available there!

Now, it looks like there’s another reason for you to head over to Bangkok for your next vacation. There’s a new shopping spot that has opened recently, just next to Chatuchak Weekend Market and it looks awesome.
Set to be the next shopping destination for locals and tourists alike, this fully air-conditioned, five-storey mall is known as Mixt Chatuchak.
The mall has more than 700 retail shops from local and international brands that occupy a space of 60,000 square metres, according to The Nation.
Shoppers can have a brief respite from the heat while bargain hunting and continue to shop until they drop here. These retailers are gathered from a selection of trendy and popular shops with offerings including Fashion, Accessories, Home and Décor, Spa & Beauty, Souvenirs and Service Businesses.

These selections of services are spread out over the first three floors with:
- Level One focusing on Fashion, Food & Beverage and Services
- Level Two, shoppers can browse for Fashion and Accessories
- Level Three, you can find Home & Decor, Spa & Beauty and Souvenir items for sale.
If you feel peckish after shopping your heart out, then head over to street food-style food court that has 45 stalls offering yummy food with prices starting from THB 30 (RM4.10)! From the Chatuchak Weekend Market, you can access Mixt Chatuchak from Sections 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19.
