One of the things that make Malaysia super special is the abundance of different arts and cultures that call it home. From Emo culture to Kpop culture, the harmony among the variety truly binds us as a community.
Which is why it is essential that we help these cultures stay alive, and in this case, the skateboard culture in Malaysia need our help!
Wheel Love Skateshop took to their Instagram account to seek donations in order to spruce up the Shah Alam Skatepark, a space that very much needs some fixtures and improvements.
They wrote, “The Shah Alam Skatepark needs some love.”
Along for this project is the designer and builder of the Shah Alam Extreme Park, Tim Altic, who is donating his time and effort towards fixing up the skatepark.
But they do need help with purchasing the materials and equipment needed for the improvements.
Here’s how you can help!
Help support this DIY rebuilding project by donating to Wheel Love (Maybank: 562227321793).
“Please mention Shah Alam in the ‘reference’ when you make you donation. And do WhatsApp the receipt to +60172158664.”
And to show their appreciation, the 10 most generous donours will receive a special Shah Alam Skatepark skateboard deck signed by Tim!
Even a little can go a long way so do help however you can.
Have you been to the Shah Alam Skatepark? Do feel free to share your fondest memories there in the comment section!
