Driving is sometimes about patience, especially when you encounter a situation that grinds your gears but there is never a valid reason to get physical.

Just recently, a viral video, which was originally shared by Facebook user Apple Kenzo and circulated on social media, shows an argument between 2 drivers – a driver of a Singapore-registered vehicle, and another Malaysian driver whose SUV was hit with a golf club by the Singaporean driver.

According to an official statement released by PDRM in Johor today (February 11), the dispute took place when the Malaysian driver was blocking the Singaporean driver from using the emergency lane, which caused the latter to be unhappy.

The suspect later angrily descended from his car with his golf club and smashed the rear window of the SUV.

The Malaysian driver was also seen slapping the rear mirror of the Singapore-registered vehicle, which caused him to attack with his golf club.

Both drivers then started to get physical but other passengers of the SUV tried to stop the fight. The video, however, did not manage to capture what took place after.

In the police statement, PDRM stated that they are on the hunt for the driver of the Singapore-registered vehicle. The incident took place on the North-South Expressway where both parties were headed north.

“We urge everyone not to speculate anything while we investigate the matter,” the police said.

If you happen to encounter a road rage, it’s best to stay in the car and call for help.
