The driver, a senior citizen in her 60s, accidentally stepped on the accelerator and crashed into the betting station yesterday (March 26) around 11 AM. The driver crashed into the wall and some plastic chairs. Fortunately, no one was sitting there during the accident.

The car was sent for repair shortly after, and the senior citizen, who did not suffer any injuries, was taken home by her daughter.

Despite the shock, visitors saw this as an opportunity to make a fortune

The Myvi unintentionally became a “hit” with its car plate number, and some people also bet on the shoplot number due to the accident. Some people who were late to the store heard the news and wanted to place their bets, but were told that the relevant numbers were no longer available for betting.

According to an employee , she heard that other  also stopped allowing people to bet on the relevant numbers, as reported by Sin Chew Daily and China Press.

Based on an update by Magnum 4D, the driver also managed to place her bets. The caption on their post reads,

“Luckily, everyone’s safe—and the driver still managed to grab their lucky numbers. Now that’s unstoppable dedication!”

Employees cleaned up the broken chairs, flower pots, and mailboxes at the scene. It didn’t take long for the store to be back in business, and people continued to come in and place their bets.
