Although it is rare, there have been numerous accounts of people winning enormous amounts of money in the lottery.

There have been reports of people winning the lottery with numbers they had obtained via a dream.

Recently, it was reported that a fruit seller from Selangor won almost RM9 million in a 4D payout. What’s crazy is that he said that the winning numbers came to him in a dream.

The 48-year-old was among 10 winners of a Sports Toto 4D Jackpot draw on 6 November.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the man bagged RM8,975,927.20 from the Sports Toto 4D Jackpot.

The fruit seller walked away with the biggest prize among 10 winners who collectively won a total of RM13.5 million.

When collecting his winnings at Sports Toto’s head office in Kuala Lumpur, he said that he got the winning numbers which were 6793 and 7936, from his dreams.

“I don’t know how to describe the dream, but after interpreting it, I got some numbers and then combined them into a combination of winning numbers.”

The man, who had been buying the same numbers for two months, said he would keep part of the winnings for rainy days whilst also donating some of the winnings to a temple he often goes to worship.

Money

At the same time, a 51-year-old retiree from Sarawak took home RM1.99 million.

The senior citizen betted on the registration numbers of his car and motorcycle.

“The i-System ticket allowed me to include all the combinations that I wanted and this won me RM1,994,650.50 and an additional RM597.60.”

The other eight winners are from Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sarawak.

They walked away with winnings ranging from RM58,858.50 to RM460,303.95.
