Selangor FC’s New ‘Away Kit’ is Here To Help Raise Cancer Awareness & It Comes With Splashes of Hot Pink!

Some of you may already know, World Cancer Day was on 4 February.

And in conjunction with the international awareness day, Selangor FC launched their new Away Kit 2022 that comes with splashes of gorgeous hot pink!

Selangor FC wrote, “Our Skipper with the New Away Kit Jersey!”

Modelling the kit is Selangor FC team captain and national footballer, Brendan Gan.

In July of 2021, it was revealed that Gan had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and had successfully undergone surgery to remove the tumour.

And he hasn’t been the only one to battle the disease.

“Not long ago, Dutch footballer Devin Plank made international headlines when he made his return to football after also battling cancer. Among other famous footballers that has battled cancer include Eric Abidal, Arjen Robben and Jonas Gutierrez,” Selangor FC shared.

 

With that being said, RM5 from the all jersey sales will go to cancer programs such as the National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA) and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM).
