In a recently viral video that has been circulating online, user @sitiruzianah took to her TikTok to share her special day as she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend (now fiancé) of 7 years.
The Malaysian couple, Izz and Ruziana, captured the hearts of netizens with their beautiful engagement ceremony. They creatively arranged the bridal dowry, totaling RM50,000, to resemble a cake, adding a special touch to their celebration.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ruziana explained that the arrangement was custom-made for the groom’s engagement to her. The event took place at a residence in Sandakan, Sabah.
“I love every detail of my bridal dowry”
Ruziana shared that her fiancé works in China, while she manages a bundle business. The couple, aged 26 and 25 respectively, have been in a long-term relationship and plan to tie the knot by the end of this year.
“We don’t have a set date yet because my fiancé works offshore, and his contract typically gets renewed every 8-10 months. However, we’re aiming to tie the knot by the end of this year.”
When asked about the engagement cake made of RM50k, Ruziana went on to explain how they stumbled upon the idea on Pinterest, which sparked their interest and led them to pursue it for their own celebration.
