Well, this is unexpected!

Just yesterday (2nd January), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram where he posted a short video of him showing some love to Malaysia. In his video, he showed immense gratitude to Malaysians for keeping his latest movie, ‘Jumanji‘ at the number one spot, saying,

“This is our second weekend opening ‘Jumanji’ in Malaysia and we are already the third biggest movie of all time, which is incredible in our second week.”

“We are trending to be the biggest movie of all time in Malaysia. I thank you so much.”

He then went on to say that our country holds a very special place in his heart, recalling his wrestling days.

“Early in my career, I spilled a lot of blood and sweat in Kuala Lumpur. I had some incredible matches that took a lot out of me. Performing in front of people with that kind of electricity, I will never forget.”

He continued with the love in his caption. An excerpt from it reads,

“Our roots go way back years ago as I had some of my best (and grueling) wrestling matches right there in Kuala Lumpur. Unforgettable times. I’m forever grateful for your love over the years.”

Aww!

The video soon caught the attention of tonnes of Malaysian Instagram users, who began flooding his comments, with some of them even asking him to pay Malaysia a visit.

With all this love on our Instagram feed, 2018’s definitely looking good!
