Sony’s PlayStation is a video game brand that is well-known in the world. Ever since the first PlayStation was released in 1994, it has gained massive attention and captured the hearts of gamers worldwide.
Nevertheless, PlayStation is not only the best console to play but it is also apparently the best place to work at. PlayStation is now offering vacancies based in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Wow, play video games and make a living? What a life!
PlayStation is not only looking for video game players but someone with language proficiency as well. There are two job offers, which are Localisation Tester and WWS QA Functional Test Lead.
As a Localisation Tester, applicants must have a native-level knowledge for the required languages (grammar, spelling, and punctuation) and an eye for detail to find and provide corrections for errors since you are required to proof-read and do translation work for games as well. The languages include Portuguese, Russian and Arabic.
Applicants also must be eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the contract, and of course, must be a video game enthusiast.
On the other hand, those applying for the WWS QA Functional Test Lead position are preferred to have excellent communication, organisational, social and critical analysis skills. They should also have experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking systems.
It would be nice if you have successfully shipped a major title in a QA Lead capacity, excellent PlayStation platform knowledge and proficiency in Japanese as well.
If you are keen on the job, you can apply for it here on Indeed.
Both vacancies require passionate games players, however, we should always remember that all jobs have their own difficulties!
