Imagine being a scared, injured dog stuck somewhere it can’t get out of. Hungry, thirsty and tired, hoping for good souls to save it from it’s misery. That was the sad experience a poor dog had to endure when it got stuck in a drain for about 7 days.

Thankfully, the drain was located next to the Petron station in Sungai Nibong, Penang, where the staff not only rescued it but also took the best care of it before sending it to a vet to heal from its injuries and find its owner.

Petron Sungai Nibong took to their TikTok page to showcase the incident.

They wrote, “Inspired by the true events of the movie which is called Marley & Me (from the year 2006). God forgives the sins of people who help animals that are thirsty for water.”

This incident took place last Friday (August 25).

In the TikTok video, the staff of the Petron station could be seen comforting the dog and feeding it after lifting the poor thing out of a drain.

One of the staff attempting to pick the dog up to put it in a car to be brought to a vet, but they in turn decided to use a banner as a stretcher to help ease the dog’s pain.

They then comforted the dog once again, after it was placed in the back of a car. Soon after, they dropped the dog off at the vet where it will receive treatment for its injuries and, hopefully, be able to either be located by its owner or find a forever home.
